What is an Electronic Book?
Much like a conventional book, an electronic book contains
information in the form of text and graphics; some may even
have sound as well.
How much information can an electronic book store?
An electronic book can store a massive amount of information,
for example, an entire multi-volume encyclopedia. (200,000,000
characters or about 100,000 pages of typed text)
How is information organized in an electronic book?
An electronic book contains information arranged in "entries."
The nature of an entry depends on the electronic book title
(volume). For example, an entry in a dictionary electronic book
would correspond to a definition in a conventional dictionary. For
an encyclopedia, the electronic book entries would be topic
entries just as in the case of a conventional encyclopedia. Fora
restaurant guide, each entry might consist of information about a
particular restaurant.

The DD-10EX lets you locate information in a number of ways:
Word Search, Endword Search, Keyword Search, Menu Search,
Multi-Search, and Graphic Search. The retrieved information is
presented in a combination of text, graphics, or sound. Also. you
can use the DD-10EX to play regular compact discs (CD singles).
