Adjusting the Contrast
If the contrast on the display is not satisfactory, use the
CONTRAST control to adjust it. Moving the control toward H
increases the contrast, whereas moving it toward L decreases
the contrast.

Turning on the Display Light
If you want to make the display brighter and thus easier to read,
you can turn on the display light. Setting the LIGHT switch to ON
turns on the light, whereas setting the switch to OFF turns it off.
When the display light is on, however, more battery (regular or
rechargeable) power will be used.
