To display a test signal on the TV when seiting the video channel.

Connect to the aerial input of a TV.
DISPLAY WINDOW
@ REC (recording) indicator
Lights during recording.
@ LP (Long Play) indicator
Lights when a recording at LP speed is chosen or a tape recorded at
LP speed is played back.
When a recording at SP (Standard Play) speed is chosen or a tape
recorded at SP speed is played back, the indicator goes off.
@ Clock/tape counter/tape operation display
© Counter memory indicator
Shows M when the counter memory function is activated.
© A-TR (Automatic tracking) indicator
Lights when the automatic tracking is activated.
Flashes when the
tracking is being adjusted.
@ Cassette indicator
Lights when a cassette is loaded. Flashes at various speeds according
to tape operation.
Fiashes when a cassette is ejected.
Timer recording indicator (©)
Lights when the unit is standing by for a timer recording.
INDEX search indicator
Lights during an index search operation.
