Incorrect connection
CLEANING THE VIDEO HEADS
Although this unit is equipped with an automatic head cleaner, dirt may
accumulate on the video heads after long periods of use. If the playback
picture is blurred or noisy, while the TV programmes received are clear,
the heads may be dirty. In this case, clean the video heads using a
commercially available video head cleaning tape.
Abnormal operation
CLEANING THE UNIT
When the cabinet has become dirty or stained, dip a piece of gauze or soft
cloth into a dilute solution of neutral cleanser, and wipe clean. Never use
thinner or benzine since they will damage the cabinet surface.
MAINTENANCE
1 To maintain the optimum performance of this video unit, regular
periodic maintenance is required. Your dealer can advise you
further.
2 Maintenance and adjustments should not be done by the user. In
all cases of difficulty or doubt, consult your dealer.
NOTE ON CONDENSATION
Moisture may condense inside the unit when it is moved from acold place
to a warm place, after heating a cold room, or under conditions of high
humidity. If the tape is played back under these conditions, the unit and
the tape may be damaged. Do not use the unit until ithas warmed to room
temperature and the moisture has evaporated compietely in a. well-
ventilated area.
Normal operation should be possible after 2 hours.
