PLAYING BACK A TAPE
ONE-TOUCH PLAYBACK
Immediately after any recording, simply press the ONE-TOUCH
PLAYBACK button (or OTPB button on the remote control). The tape
rewinds to the start of the recorded portion and begins playback
automatically.
For regular recordings EY .
1 Press the B STOP button to stop recording.
The ONE-TOUCH PLAYBACK button on the main unit lights.
2 Press the ONE-TOUCH PLAYBACK (or OTPB) button.
For a timer recording without Video Plus+ and quick timer
recording EJ
Press the ONE-TOUCH PLAYBACK (or OTPB) button.
When multiple timer recordings are programmed, the tape rewinds to the
very first timer recording.
e After a recording, if another operation button is pressed, the one-touch
playback function is cancelled.
¢ The one-touch playback function does not work for a recording of less
than 2 minutes.
CONVENIENT AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONS
Automatic power on
When a cassette tape is inserted, the unit automatically turns on.
Automatic playback
When a cassette without an erasure prevention tab is inserted, playback
begins automatically.
Automatic record cancel
If any of the recording buttons are pressed while a cassette without an
erasure prevention tab is inserted, the tape is automatically ejected.
Automatic rewind/eject/power off
When a tape reaches the end during playback, fast forward or forward
visual search, the tape is automatically rewound to the beginning and
ejected. Then the power is turned off.
Power off eject
{f the & EJECT button is pressed when the power is off, the power turns
on, the cassette is ejected, and the power turns off again.
