TUNING THE
TV TO THE
VCR

Press the POWER button to turn on the VCR.

Set the TEST SIGNAL switch on the rear of the VCR to
ON.

Turf on the TV and choose a free channel! you wish to
use for video playback.
Some TV receivers have a recommended channel for use with
a VCR.

Tune in the TV using the normal TV tuning procedure
until a clear black and white test pattern appears on
the TV screen.

Set the TEST SIGNAL switch to OFF.
Now the channel chosen in step 3 is set to the video
channel.
Whenever you want to play back a tape, set the TV to this
channel.

If the VCR is connected to the TV via a 21-pin scart cable,
the above procedure is not necessary. Sei the TV to the
'video' input.
Insert two R6 (size AA) batteries
(supplied) with the correct polarity,
as indicated inside the battery
compartment.
