GETTING A BETTER PICTURE
AUTOMATIC TRACKING CONTROL EY
When a cassette is inserted, and playback starts, the automatic tracking
function works to get the best possible picture. During automatic tracking
adjustment, the "A-TR" indicator flashes on the display window. When the
adjustment completed, the indicator lights.
e "A-TR" does not appear while an unrecorded portion of a tape is played
back.

¢ Depending upon the quality of the recorded tape, the amount of time it
takes to automatically adjust the tracking varies. If "A-TR" continues to
flash for more than 10 seconds, adjust the tracking manually.

If the quality of a tape is poor, the picture may become clearer if you adjust
the tracking manually.
During playback, press the + — buttons on the remote control repeatedly
until the clearest possible picture is obtained.
The "A-TR" indicator turns off on the display.
To return to the automatic tracking mode
Press the A-TR button.
