Troubleshooting
Problem
The appliance is noisy.
The remote control does not turn on.
The appliance does not receive signal
from the remote control.
The error messages FL, E2, E4, E6. E7
appear on the display.

Self-diagnosis

The appliance has a self-diagnosis system to identify a number
of warning/malfunctions.Error messages are displayed in the
display on the control panel.

Possible cause
In order for the appliance to work, the
appliance produces some noises that are
considered normal.
• At the top of the appliance, a sound of
rushing air being moved by the fan can
be heard.
• High efficient compressors may occur
high-pitched sound during air
conditioning operation.
• A gurgling or hissing noise is normal
during operation. This is caused by
the flow of refrigerant.
The batteries are empty.
The signal between the remote control
and signal receiver is interrupted.
The appliance has a self diagnosis system
to identify a number of malfunctions.
Solution
Empty the internal tank
( Chapter 6.3.2 "Draining the
internal tank", Page 19). If the
Error code continues to appear
despite the internal tank being
empty, please contact an
authorized service technician.

Possible solution
Replace the batteries.
The remote control must be no more than
5 meters away from the appliance without
