When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
CAUTION – The Threaded Body Test Switch (TBTS) serves as the unit connector. The ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and
BPS initiate once both the TBTS installation is complete and A.C. power is supplied to the unit.

CAUTION – These fixtures provide more than one power supply output source. To reduce the risk of electrical shock,
disconnect both normal and emergency sources by turning off the A.C. branch circuit and by disconnecting the TBTS
Test Button Component before servicing.

CAUTION – These are sealed units. Components are not replaceable. Replace the entire unit when necessary.
CAUTION – Installation and service should be performed by qualified personnel only. De-energize before opening.

The ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS are for use with grounded LED luminaires listed to UL standards. Not for use in
heated air outlets or hazardous locations.
The ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS require an unswitched A.C. power source of 120 to 277 volts AC, 50/60Hz.

The ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS and A.C. driver must be on the same branch circuit.

Do not mount near gas or electric heaters.

The ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS should be mounted in locations and at heights where it will not readily be
subjected to tampering by unauthorized personnel.
The ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS supply 10-55VDC output at the individual rated specification for 90 minutes.

(MAEDBS) as a small battery charger.

Suitable for use in damp locations, and in enclosed and gasketed fixtures.

For use in 0° C minimum, 55° C maximum ambient temperatures. Usage outside of these temperatures may result in the
unit turning off.

The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition, void
warranty, and result in non-compliance with UL specifications.
16.
Do not use this equipment for other than intended use.
17.
Install in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
18.
Lighting fixture manufacturers, electricians, and end-users need to ensure product system compatibility before final
installation.

  • Page 2 1. Application The ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS can be used with most LED loads that operate at 10-55 VDC. 1. The ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS has been evaluated to and found compliant to UL 924 STANDARD FOR SAFETY Emergency Lighting and Power Equipment.
  • Page 3 Automatic Monthly Testing – The ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS will automatically conduct a 60-second test once every month. If the ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS encounters a problem, the TBTS will flash RED. See the Table A below for diagnosis.

Manual Testing - Manual Testing can be performed on the ILBLP CP07 HE SD BP and BPS, provided the unit is fully charged, by pressing and releasing the TBTS. Manual Testing should not be initiated until the unit has received a full 24 hour charge.
