6 Maintenance
Clean the boiler passes of the economiser
with a brush. Also clean the optional turbula-
tors. If automatic boiler tube cleaning is being
used, six-monthly cleaning is adequate.
Automatic boiler cleaning (12). Check the
compressed air tank for condensate forma-
tion. Slowly open the drain tap and blow out
the condensate.

Check the condition of the firebricks (27) and
the refractory lining (29)
Complete cleaning of the combustion cham-
ber (29), under the combustion retort (18), the
flue gas fan (including the hub) (6), the cy-
clone inlet (32) and the flue gas recirculation
Lubricate according to the lubrication table

Cleaning of the flue gas pipes (33) and the
chimney (33) by the chimney sweep in accor-
dance with local regulations. Minimum clean-
ing interval in winter operation: 1x yearly
Minimum cleaning interval in summer/winter
operation: 2x yearly
