Connecting to a television
This explains connections that allow you to enjoy sound through the television's speakers.
There are details on how to connect other equipment, to enjoy a more powerful sound, start¬
ing on page 34.

During DVD play, TV volume may be lower than during TV broadcasts. If you turn the vol¬
ume up while playing DVD, ensure that you reduce the volume again before playing other
sources so that a sudden increase in output does not occur.
Connect Your Portable DVD Audio/Video Player Directly To Your Television
If the unit is connected to the television through a video cassette recorder, the picture
may not be played back correctly due to the copy guard. So we strongly recommend
you do not connect the unit to your video cassette recorder when setting up your
home entertainment system.
