Mounting The Host Adapter - Sony CDU535 Series Operating Instructions Manual

Install the host adapter* in the computer by inserting it securely in a
system expansion slot. Refer to the users' manual of the host adapter for
complete instructions on its installation and the assignment of its
switches.
Note:
If you decide to connect the external CD·ROM drive(s), you must
remove the host adapter's terminator resistors.
