Extensions for horizontal kit Ø 60/100 (L = maximum length) (Fig. 20).
To calculate the length of the flue, simply add, for each component you intend to use, the corresponding value indicated in the
column "Length equivalent to m of pipe" in the table in par. 1.14, and check that the resulting sum is equal to or less than the
maximum length indicated in par. 1.15.
Example of flue length calculation.
In the ducting system example (Fig. 21), starting from the maximum length 13 m (12 m + 1 m of terminal) (Par. 1.15), to calculate the
length of the flue, you must subtract the following measurements:
12 m (13 m - 1 m terminal - 1 m (Concentric pipe Ø 60/100) - 1,3 m (Concentric elbow 90° Ø 60/100) - 1 m (Concentric pipe Ø 60/100) - 1 m
(Concentric elbow 45° Ø 60/100) - 1 m (Concentric elbow 45° Ø 60/100) = 6,7 m.
To calculate the flue length of other types of installations, follow the logic illustrated in this example.
