HEADPHONES jack (stereo mini type) and LEVEL
(headphone level) control
Connect headphones to this jack and adjust the sound
level.
[3] CONTROL L connector (5-pin DIN type)
Connect to the CONTROL L connector of other Sony
product for systematic operations such as
synchronized editing.
If you connect a Sony editing controller RM-E300, you
can perform automatic assemble editing of up to 8
programs.
About the LANC
LANC stands for Local Application Control Bus
System. The LANC connector is used for controlling
the tape transport of video equipment and
peripherals connected to it. This connector has the
same function as the connectors indicated as
CONTROL L or REMOTE.

Various displays appear.

EDIT MONITOR indicator
Lights when the EDIT MONITOR button is pressed.
(I6|AUTO TRACKING indicator
Blinks while the VCR is searching for the best tracking
position.
Lights when the best position is obtained.
SWING SHUTTLE indicator
According to the tape transport, the corresponding
indicator will light.
(18] Remote sensor
Point the supplied infrared Remote Commander
RMT-V757A here.
([9] SHARPNESS control
Use to adjust the sharpness of the picture if necessary.
Normally set this control at the center indented
position.
REC LEVEL controls
Adjust the audio recording level. Normally keep these
controls at the center indented position.
