Connections
In order to watch the piayback picture on the TV screen
and receive TV programs on this VCR, this VCR and the
TV must be connected properly.
The connection between the two VCRs varies depending
upon the type of TV and antenna that you have.
We will show you here some typical ways you can make
this connection with the supplied accessories.
Before operating the unit, read through this section and
make the correct connections.
Before You Begin
eTurn off the power of the VCR and the TV.
Disconnect the AC power cord of the VCR and the TV
from the wail outlet.
Do not connect the AC power cords until all of the
connections are completed.

Connections between the recorder VHF/UHF OUT
connector and the antenna terminals of a TV receiver
should be made only as shown in the instructions.
Failure to do so may result in operation that violates
the regulations of the Federal Communications
Commission regarding the use and operation of rf
devices.
Never connect the output of the recorder to an antenna
or make simultaneous (parallel)antenna and recorder
connections at the antenna terminals of your receiver.
