If a flexible connector is used assure that both the appliance
pressure regulator and manual shut-off valve are joined solidly to
other permanent hard piping (either gas supply or the appliance
manifold) so as to be physically stationary. See figure.
IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to attach the flexible connector
directly to an external pipe thread.
Connection requires flare union adapters.
For Massachusetts Installations:
1. Shut-off valve must be a "T" handle gas cock.
2. Flexible gas connector must not be longer than
36" (91.44 cm).
3. Not approved for installation in a bedroom or a bathroom
unless unit is direct vent.
