Function Button
This button is used to activate many of the
FP-1's functions. For a detailed explanation
of the [FUNCTION] button, please refer to pages 8-11.
Tune Knob
The FP-1 can easily be tuned to match the
pitch of another musical instrument. This is
useful for playing in ensembles or for playing along
with recordings. Rotating the [TUNE] knob counter-
clockwise (to #) increases the pitch, while rotating it
clockwise (to b) lowers the pitch.
* When the [TUNE] knob is set to the center position, the
middle A (la) key will have a pitch of 440.0 Hz.
* By turning the knob all the way in one direction from cen-
fer, the pitch will change by approximately 50 cents (1/2
semitone).
Phones Jack
,
Connect headphones to the Phones jack locat-
ed on the far left side of the keyboard. Using
headphones is a great way to practice without disturb-
ing those around you. The [VOLUME] slider can be
used to control the headphone volume.
