    SETUP FOR INSTALLATION OF QMC-DCP ADJUSTABLE RACK MOUNTS The QMC-DCP-RP is an accessory kit for the QMC Desktop Control Panel (QMC-DCP). The QMC- DCP-RP accessory kit allows the user to adjust the angle of the QMC-DCP when it is installed in a desk or rack.

    Installation Guide for the QMC-DCP-RP REMOVING PROTECTIVE COVERS The QMC-DCP is shipped with protective covering on the mounting braces. These covers can be removed by unscrewing the screws, as shown in Figure 2-1. This step is repeated for both the right and left side of the QMC-DCP.

    The Bottom Guides (Part C – see Figure 3-5) are fastened to the rack or desktop rack that the QMC- DCP is being fitted in. There are two Bottom Guides provided in the QMC-DCP-RP. These parts are bi-directional, therefore, no right or left designation is required. The Bottom Guides are fastened to the rack through the mounting holes shown in Figure 3-5.

    Installation Guide for the QMC-DCP-RP Figure 3-5: Bottom Guide with mounting holes When installing the Bottom Guide to the rack, the user should be aware that the Bottom Guide attaches to the Top Guide with Rotation Lock, as shown in Figure 3-6 and Figure 3-7. Therefore, care MUST be taken when centering the Bottom Guide in the rack.
