Connecting Additional Video Appliances to a
Network
Before you can connect an additional Video Appliance to an existing ACC site, you must change the IP
addresses of the internal switch and the WebUI port to avoid IP addressing conflicts between the other
Video Appliances connected to the same site.
By default the IP addresses are is 192.168.2.1 for the internal switch and 192.168.2.99 for the WebUI port.
Important: The IP addresses for both the internal switch and the WebUI port on each Video
Appliance must be in the same IP subnet (for example, 192.168.100.0/24). All IP addresses must be
unique.
It is recommended that you plan an IP addressing strategy for your appliances, and that you change the IP
address on every Video Appliance, rather than keeping the default IP addresses on only one of the
appliances. You can use separate subnets for each appliance, or a single subnet for all appliances, as long
as all of the IP addresses are unique.
