Quick Setup

The Quick Setup menu gives the user access to the most frequent settings (see figure 12).

EDID
Allows the user to assign an EDID to the HDMI input.
EDID is available for assignment via the LCD menu or SIS.
Both are pre-defined and custom EDID settings are available.
Aspect Ratio
Allows the user to set the aspect ratio of the output to fill the entire output (Fill) or to
display the input in its native aspect ratio (Follow) on the output.
Default: Fill
Available modes: Fill/Follow
Output Rate
Allows the user to set the scaler output resolution using the left ADJUST knob ( [ ) and the
refresh rate for the HDMI outputs using the right ADJUST knob ( { ).

Allows the user to immediately send video out of the scaler without having an HDMI input
applied (see

Allows the user to enter calibration mode to calibrate the connected USB touchpanels (see

Picture Controls

The Picture Controls menu includes horizontal and vertical image size and position
adjustments (see figure 13). When the aspect ratio changes due to fill/follow commands, the
horizontal size and position variables are updated accordingly.

Quickly sizes and centers the incoming signal to the output setting based on the input fill or
follow setting. When executed, the user is prompted to push the NEXT button a second time
to confirm.
