    Pairing the Annotator 401 to USB Extender Plus Receivers Pairing the Annotator 401 to a Single Receiver The Annotator 401 does not work with a USB Extender Plus recevier until both devices are paired to one another. To pair the Annotator 401 to a recevier platform: Ensure the both devices are either connected to the same subnet on your network, or that the devices are directly connected to each other via CATx cable (see figure 7).
  • Page 18 Pairing/Tying the Annotator 401 to Mulitple Receivers Up to four receviers can be tied to one Annotator 401 using PCS. The devices must be connected to a network switch (see figure 8). The PC running PCS communciates with all USB Extenders via IP and makes ties via MAC addressing.

If the touchpanel is not supported by the firmware, a supporting module must be uploaded to the device using PCS.
