Use only the type
and size of vent pipe and fittings
specified.
9. Be sure
to
provide
enough
combustion
and
ventilation
air. See page 5. The flow
of this
air
to the furnace
must not be blocked.
10. Never test for gas leaks with an open flame.
Use
soap suds to check all gas connections.
This will
avoid
the possibility
of fire or explosion.

servicing,
allow
furnace
to cool.

off
electricity
and
gas to furnace

temperatures,
the
furnace
should
be located
out of traffic
and away from furniture
and draperies.
Children
and adults
should
be alerted

hazards
of high surface

ignition.
Young
children
should
be carefully
supervised
when
they
are
in the
same
room
with
the
furnace.
Do
not
place
clothing
or
other
flammable
material
on or near furnace.
Installation
and repair
should be done by a
qualified
service person. The furnace should be
!nspected before use and at least annually
by a
professional
service
person.
More
frequent
cleaning may be required due to excessive
lint
from
carpeting,
bedding
material,
etc.
