Troubleshooting
Possible cause
The starter pawls cannot
move freely.
Incorrect fuel type.
Incorrect idle speed.
The spark plug is dirty or
wet.
Incorrect electrode gap.
The spark plug is loose.
Possible cause
Incorrect fuel type.
Incorrect idle speed.
Clogged air filter.
Possible causes
The blade is blocked or it is
damaged.
The blade is not sharp or it
is damaged.
There is friction between
the blades.
Recommended step
Adjust or replace the starter pawls.
Clean around the starter pawls.
Speak to an approved servicing dealer.
Drain it and use correct fuel.
Adjust the idle speed.
Make sure that the spark plug is dry and clean.
Clean the spark plug. Make sure that the electrode gap
of the spark plug is correct. Make sure that the spark
plug is installed with a suppressor.
Refer to for correct electrode gap.
Tighten the spark plug.

Drain it and use correct fuel.
