RED-EYE REDUCTION FLASH MODE
....
With the Red-eye reduction flash mode, the flash discharges two consecutive times. The first flash discharges
just before the shutter is released (low-power output) which causes the irises of the eyes to =1°®®

Then, the second flash discharges (normal flash output), which reduces the possibilities of the red-eye effect
significantly.
