To set various exposure modes, depress the mode button

Turn the power on by depressing the main switch
button.
• To set various required modes, depress the but¬
ton
W and /or O each time.
• For normal use, set the Auto,Single frame and
Mult! focus modes. When the power is switched
on, the Auto, Single frame and Multi focus
modes are automatically set.
Red-Eye Reduction Flash Function
To reduce the red-eye phenomenon in the picture,
^press the red-eye reduction flash button (^)
• . With this mode, the flash discharges two con¬
secutive times, reducing the appearance of the red¬
eye effect. To cancel this mode, depress the red¬
eye reduction button again.
• In dark light situations, the illuminator for the
LCD panel lights up automatically when one of
four buttons next to the LCD panel is de¬
pressed. See page 20.
