• Empty the dust collection bag regularly. Dust from certain substan-
ces and coatings, e.g. polyurethanes or linseed oil, tend to self-ignite.
Therefore, always empty the dust collection bag before storing the
grinder. Also follow the instructions of the coating manufacturer.
• Secure the workpiece against slipping away.
• Always guide the unit with the power on against the workpiece. After
machining, lift the unit off the workpiece and only then switch it off.
• Always remove the battery from the unit during breaks, before carrying
out any work on the unit (e.g. changing the abrasive belt) and when not
in use.
• The unit is designed for use up to 2000 m above sea level.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not working correctly or has been
damaged by falling. Do not disassemble the unit or attempt to repair it
yourself.
• Periodically check all bolts, nuts and other fasteners for tightness and
tighten as necessary.
• Have your power tool repaired only by qualified personnel and only with
original spare parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.

used, stored or charged improperly.
Use the charger correctly
• Follow the instructions described in the appropriate section of this
manual regarding the proper use of the battery charger before charging
the battery.
• Do not use the charger to charge other batteries. Keep the battery char-
ger clean; foreign objects and dirt may cause a short circuit and block
the ventilation holes. Failure to follow these instructions may result in
overheating or fire.
• Allow batteries to cool for 15 minutes after charging or intensive use.

• Only charge the batteries in chargers recommended by the manufac-
turer. A charger designed for a specific type of battery may pose a fire
hazard if used with other batteries.
