REMOVING
THE
CAMERA
BODY
COVER
*Demount
the EVF
(Refer to the section ''Removing the
Electronic Viewfinder (EVF)").
1. Remove the four
@
screws and the two ® screws
as shown in Fig. 4-1.
2. As shown
in Fig. 4-2, tift section
(A), and pull it in
the direction of ®. Then, remove
the top cover and
electronic viewfinder by pulling in direction ©.
3. Remove the screws (c) and (d) shown in Fig. 4-3 to
remove the grip cover and grip belt.

4. Remove screws 'e), {f) and the two "g: screws shown
In Fig. 4-4.
5. Remove the four ty screws shown in Fig. 4-5.
6. Removing the connector shown in Fig. 4-6 will allow
the left and right body covers to be removed.
NOTE:
1. The tapped knob and slide knob are removed
together with
the cover. Be careful that they
are not lost.
2. By
removing
the
cover,
the
plate
nut
be-
comes
disengaged,
creating
the
hazard
of
Causing
it to contact
the board,
Be sure to
turn the power supply OFF
prior to remov-
ing the cover.
* Adjusting
is done
with
the unit
in this condition,
however, be sure to connect R and § connectors.
Remove the cover of the carrier balance VR.
The
bottom
cover
should
also
be
removed
when
adjusting BATT. ALARM
and SSG.
NOTE:
3. The
fens
should
be
removed
before
dis-

assembling
the body cover. The tens should
be replaced after the bottom
cover has been
disassembled.
4. When
supplying
power
with
the
R and
S
connectors
removed,
exercise
care
not
to
cause
the
board
connector
pins to contact
the chassis.
