Troubleshooting guide

Problem
Appliance does
not operate.
Appliance starts
to slow or
labour during
processing.
The appliance
stops during
operation.
Poor chopping
results.
Poor grinding
results.
Poor results
grinding dried
turmeric
Plastic parts
discoloured
after processing.
Cause
No Power.
Chopper
Lid not locked on
correctly.
Grinding Mill
Attachment not
locked on correctly.
Recommended
quantity exceeded.
Recommended
operating time
exceeded.
Overload protection
or overheat system
activated.
Maximum capacity
exceeded.
Recommended
quantity exceeded.
Incorrect speeds/
timings used.
Incorrect qty
of ingredients
processed.
Some foods may
discolour the plastic.
This is perfectly
normal and will not
harm the plastic or
affect the flavour of
your food.
Solution
Check appliance is
plugged in.
Check that the lid is
interlocked correctly.
Check that the attachment
is interlocked correctly
Refer to recommended
processing guide for
quantities to process.
Chopper
When processing heavy
loads such as meat do not
operate continuously for
longer than 15 seconds.
Leave to cool for 2
minutes in between each
15 second operation.
Grinding Mill
Refer to recommended
processing guide for
recommended operation
times.
Switch off, unplug and
check for obstruction or
overloading.
Allow the appliance to
stand for 30 minutes
before plugging in and
re-starting the appliance.
Refer to hint section and
follow processing guide.
Do not fill the bowl above
the max capacity.
For optimum results when
processing dried turmeric,
process with a minimum of
25g additional ingredients/
dried herbs and spices
using pulse speed to
break up the ingredients
followed by a continuous
speed.
Refer to the recommended
usage chart.
Rub with a cloth dipped
in vegetable oil to remove
the discolouration.
