Steps
1. Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the 2230 solid-state drive to the system board.
2. Slide and lift the 2230 solid-state drive off solid-state drive slot one on the system board.
Installing the 2230 solid-state drive in SSD slot one
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Solid-state drives are fragile. Exercise care when handling the solid-state drive.

This procedure applies only to computers shipped with a 2230 solid-state drive installed in SSD slot one.
NOTE:
Depending on the configuration ordered, your computer may support either a 2230 solid-state drive or a 2280
solid-state drive in SSD slot one.
If you want to replace your 2230 solid-state drive with a 2280 solid-state drive, the solid-state drive screw mount must be
shifted to fit the M.2 2280 solid-state drive.
