    ActiveCare - Deluxe User Manual Revision 04 Overview Introduction This manual provides instructions for use of the ActiveCare Bed. Do not operate the bed without first reading and understanding the warnings and cautions provided herein. NOTICE: The information in this document is subject to change without notice. Intended Use The ActiveCare Bed is intended to provide means for a single occupant to recline and sit, and to assist the occupant in moving between reclining, sitting and standing positions.

    ActiveCare - Deluxe User Manual Revision 04 Unpacking (If Shipped LTL/Commercial) Tools Required: • Utility knife/side cutting shears • ½” Socket with rachet/impact driver • 9/16” Wrench 1. Carefully remove outside box and shrink wrap with utility knife. And cut the three straps holding the boxes.

  • Page 15 ActiveCare - Deluxe User Manual Revision 04 4. Fasten the nut and bolt together using a 5/8” wrench, impact/drill, impact extension, and 5/8” socket. Note: Very important to tighten nut on bolt thoroughly 5. Plug high/low actuator cable into actuator. Push in cable thoroughly, then press clip in to lock cable into place.

Do this for both the head and foot assemblies. End boards fastened to bed 11. Plug bed into power source and raise all the way up to locate the holes for the side runners.
