e K 1100 RS: Install rear fender. Pay atten-
tion to plastic washers.
Pre-load torque
— Qutside wheel boits (5)
=> 50 Nm (36 ft.Ib.).
Tightening torques
Wheel/central bolts (5,6)
= 105 Nm (76 ft.lb.).
Brake caliper bolts (9)
=> 32 Nm (23 ft.lb.).
Caution
Do not damage brake discs and pads
when installing.
Do not operate brake pedal with wheel re-
moved.
Use only wheel and central bolts with the
same length code number.
Have tightening torques checked by your
BMW motorcycle dealer or a qualified
Service technician.
