ABS functions
The
ABS
is energized
automatically when
the motorcycle ignition is turned "on", ob-
serving the following sequence:

When the ignition has been switched on,
ABS warning lights (1) and (2) flash syn-
chronously.

Warning:
If you experience constant
ABS control is operational:
when you can sense a hard resistance at
the
hand-
or foot-operated
brake
lever
during braking
Note
After the point of hard resistance, the
brake
levers
may
possibly
"give-in"
slightly, due to the equalization of fluid
volume in the system. When ABS Il is ac-
tivated, due to operator overbraking, it
"disconnects"
the
operator
portion
of
the brake system from the rest of the sys-
tem
andtakes
control
of brake
system
pressure regulation. Fluid volume equal-
ization may occur when the system shifts
back to operation control.
ABS control is not operational:
~
atspeeds below 5 km/h (unless you have
already reached 5 km/h)
when the ignition is off
