Marking Certain Portions
(TCM-
S68V) .- CUE MARKER Function
Press CUE MARKER just before a desired portion is recorded.
You can mark
as many as you want.
To search the marked portion during playback
Press and hold ®® FF/CUE or <4 REW/REVIEW firmly during
playback. You will hear the beep sound at the portions you marked.
Release ®
FF/CUE or <4 REW/REVIEW when you have located
the desired portion you marked to restart playback.
Notes
.
¢ The beep may sound differently depending on the marked portion on
the tape because the winding speed varies from the beginning to the
end of the tape.
¢ You will not hear the beep sound during playback or when the volume
ts tumed down completely.
¢ When you press m STOP or slide PAUSE eam. to the direction of the
arrow just after you press CUE MARKER, a cue mark may not be
memorized.

Playback

To advance the tape rapidly, press PP FF/CUE.
To rewind the tape rapidly, press <4 REW/REVIEW.
To stop the tape, press B STOP.
During playback
To skip undesired portion, press and hold
> FF/CUE firmly.
To go back to a certain portion, press and hold <4 REW/REVIEW
firmly.
When the button is released, playback resumes (Cue/Review function).
To start recording directly from the playback mode
During playback, simply press @ REC and the unit wilt Immediately
enter the recording mode.
To increase the playback speed
Slide FAST PB to the direction of the arrow. The playback speed will
be increased.
To return to the original speed, slide FAST PB to the original position.
When the earphone is plugged in
The speaker will be automatically disconnected.
Note
Be sure to press and hold PP FF/CUE or <4 REW/REVIEW firmly while cueing
or reviewing. Otherwise these functions may not work property.
