QBasic settings
T here are various settings available to you in order to
B a s i c s e t t i n g s
help use your appliance effectively and simply. You can
change these settings as required.

List of basic settings

Depending on the features of your appliance, not all
basic settings will be available.
Basic setting
™‚ Display the time
™ƒ Audible signal duration
upon completion of a cook-
ing time or timer duration
™„ Button tone that sounds
when a button is touched
™... Cooling fan run-on time
™† Amount of time until a set-
ting is applied
™‡ Enable childproof lock acti-
vation
™ˆ Water hardness**
* Factory setting (factory settings may vary depending on the appli-
ance model)
** Not available for all appliance types.

Changing the basic settings

The function selector must be set to the "Off" position.
Press and hold the v button for approx. 4 seconds.

The first basic setting will appear on the display,

Press the v button to confirm.

The next basic setting will appear on the display.

When you have finished, press and hold the

All basic settings have now been applied.
You can change the basic settings again at any time.
