6. Make sure that you can see the 2 axles of the side
seal spring plate on top of the side seal box.
Abrasive material
Speak to your Husqvarna dealer for the selection of
correct abrasive material for your surface operation.

Separator
The separator (A) holds the abrasive material and
supplies the blast wheel blades with abrasive material
through the hopper (B).

The separator tray keeps contamination away from the
abrasive material and the blast wheel blades.

To fill the product with abrasive
material
1. Close the valve for the abrasive material, refer to
operate the valve for the abrasive material on page
12 .
2. Unlock (A) and open (B) the separator door.
3. Pull out the separator tray and remove all
contaminations.

4. Fill the separator with abrasive material up to
the separator tray. Fill the separator with abrasive
material when it is necessary.
To connect a dust collector
1. Examine the dust collector hose for damages.
2. Make sure that the filters in the dust collector are
clean and not damaged.
WARNING:
Always use personal
protective equipment when you fill the
product with abrasive material. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 7 .
WARNING:
Do not use the dust
collector if the dust collector hose is
damaged. The risk increases that you
breathe in dust that is dangerous to your
health. Use approved respiratory protection.
