Technical specifications of the NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics card

Power supply of the NVIDIA RTX A4000 and NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics cards

The NVIDIA RTX A4000 and NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics cards can only be connected,

operated and configured for SIMATIC IPC RW-545A for devices with power supply unit 850 W.

The NVIDIA RTX A4000 and NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics card is then supplied with a voltage

of 12 V via the slot on the motherboard and via an 6-pin or 8-pin plug-in connector. In this

situation, all pins of the connector must always be connected for trouble-free operation.

Cooling of the NVIDIA RTX A4000 and NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics card

The graphics cards feature active cooling that is provided by a fan. Heated air is dissipated via

ventilation openings on the graphics card into the inside of the device. The active cooling of

the device then transports this heated air directly out of the device via the holes in the

perforated slot brackets on the rear of the device.

• Insert the graphics cards on the motherboard only into the "PCIEX16_1" slot. (Page 150)

Note

The "Performance" fan profile of the graphics cards is mandatory for the SIMATIC IPC RW-

545A device.

In the delivery state, the fan profile of the graphics card is set to "Performance" and must not

be changed.

Observe the safety instructions regarding the risk of overheating when using expansion

cards, see the section "Safety instructions on device and system extensions (Page 47)".
