Faults - Probable causes - Solutions

If faults arise in ignition or operations, the burner performs a
"safety stop", which is signalled by the red burner lockout LED.
The display of the operator panel visualises alternately the lock-
out code and the relative diagnostic.
To restore start-up conditions, refer to the "Reset procedure" at
page 36.
When the burner starts up again, the red LED goes out.

In the event of a burner lockout, more than two
consecutive burner reset operations could cause
damage to the installation. On the third lockout,
contact the Aftersales Service.

If further lockouts or burner faults occur, interven-
tions must only be made by qualified, authorised
personnel (as indicated in this manual, and in
compliance with the laws and regulations current-

Recommended measures
Check the wiring between the control box REC 27.100A2 and
the display RDI21...
The diagnostics covers the period of time from the closure of the
fuel valves at the point the flame loss was detected (resolution
0.2 s value 5 = 1 s).
Leak test
Check if the valve on the side of the gas has any leaks.
Check the wiring and check that the circuit is open.
Leak test
Check if the valve on the side of the burner has any leaks.
Check if the pressure switch for the leak test (PGVP) is closed
when gas pressure is not present.
Check the wiring and check if there is any short-circuit.
