Press the desired INPUT SELECTOR switch on the
amplifier for the source to be recorded.
Press REC key in A or B deck.
Press REC and PAUSE
keys on the other deck at
the same time to pause the recording.
(Make sure the recording mode indicator on the ampli-
fier for A and B are the same.)
Adjust record level by turning the REC LEVEL control.
When
DIRECTION
switch
is set
to
normal
mode
(== ),when one side ends, the other deck starts recor-
ding.
When
DIRECTION
switch is set to reverse mode (=>),
when the reverse side ends the other deck starts recor-
ding.
Set a new
tape in the deck that finished recording and
pause the recording.
By doing this, continuous recor-
ding is possible.
To record the same source in both A
and B decks

Confirm that the lit in-
dicator source is iden-
tical to that displayed.
Arrows ("—" and "-+")
show the moving dir-
ection of the display.
Set cassette tapes in A and B decks.
Set the input mode on amplifier to desired source.
Press REC key in A and B decks.
REC mode indicator on the amplifier flashes and recor-
ding starts.

Set a cassette tape in A or B deck.
To set the TIMER see the timer instructions (T-7X/T-7 LX)
"How to set program timer".
Set the TIMER switch to REC.
Turn the POWER switch of the tuner OFF.
Recording automatically starts at the timer ON timer.
Setting cassette tapes in A and B decks operate relay REC
from A deck.
