    6. Installation 6.1 Appropriate installation location • Damaged products cause risks for your safety. - Prior to installation, visually check if the product has any defects on it. WARNING! - If so, do not have it installed. • Do not place the product on a floor without sufficient capacity to carry the load.

    c) After removing bolts, close the holes with plugs provided in the user manual bag. • Keep the transportation safety bolts in a safe place for reuse when the product needs to be moved again in the NOTE future. • Before moving the product, install the transportation safety bolts in reverse order of the disassembly procedure.

    a) Connect the straight end of the mains inlet hose provided with the product to the cold water tap and the warped end to the water inlet on the back of the product as shown in the figure. b) Tighten all hose nuts by hand securely. Never use a tool when tightening the nuts.

    d) To prevent the waste water to go back into the product again and to ensure easy drainage, do not immerse the end of the hose into the waste water or do not insert it into the drain for more than 15 cm. If it is too long, cut it short.

    7. Initial use 7.1 Drum cleaning • Apply drum cleaning without any laundry in the product. NOTE a) Use the Drum Cleaning programme. b) Set the temperature to the level recommended on the special drum cleaning agent package which can be provided from Authorised Service Agents.

Preparing to wash 8.1 Sorting the laundry a) Sort laundry according to type of fabric, colour, and degree of soiling and allowable water temperature. b) Follow instructions on the garment tags. c) Do not wash colours and whites together. New and dark coloured cottons may release a lot of dye.

    8.2 Preparing laundry for washing a) Remove the metal pieces such as support wire, belt buckle or metal buttons or wash the clothes by putting them in a laundry bag or pillow case. b) Take out all substances in the pockets such as coins, pens and paper clips, and turn pockets inside out before washing.

    The detergent drawer is composed of three compartments: – (1) Liquid detergent compartment – (2) Powder detergent compartment – (3) Softener compartment 8.4.2 Detergent, softener and other cleaning agents • When using detergent, softener, starch, fabric dye, bleach and descaling agents to be added through the detergent NOTE container 2, read the manufacturer's instructions written on the package and follow the dosages specified.

    8.4.3 Auto dosing Initial setup a) Switch on the machine by pressing the on/off button. b) The dosing symbol ( ) will appear in programmes that permit detergent dosing. c) If the liquid detergent and softener compartments are empty or the remaining agents in these compartments are below the limits, the relevant dosing symbol will flash in programmes that permit dosing.

    • While the detergent drawer is full with detergent and/or softener: a- Do not pull the machine, b- Do not change its place, CAUTION! c- Do not tilt the machine to its side or back. • To make these actions, first you should take out the drawer from the machine.

    f) If you want to use a liquid detergent whose characteristics are different than that of the detergent in the liquid detergent compartment for once, you must add the different liquid detergent into the middle powder detergent compartment and cancel your liquid detergent selection.

    8.4.6 Adding detergent or softener to the wrong compartment: a) If the detergent or softener is added to the wrong compartments, see 13.1 “Cleaning the detergent drawer”. 8.4.7 Choosing the detergent type • Detergent type to be used depends on the washing programme, fabric type and color.

    8.4.11 Using limescale remover a) When required, use limescale removers manufactured specifically for washing machines only. 8.4.12 Using bleaches a) Do not use bleaching agent and detergent by mixing them. b) Oxygen-based bleach can be used together with the detergent. c) Do not pour the bleach onto the laundry.

    9. Programmes and Auxiliary Functions 9.1 Programme selection • Programmes are limited with the highest spin speed appropriate for that particular type of fabric. NOTE • When selecting a programme, always consider the type of fabric, colour, degree of soiling and permissible water temperature. a) Select the desired programme with the Programme Selection button.
  • Page 31 • Eco 40-60 The Eco 40-60 programme is able to clean normally soiled cotton laundry declared to be washable at 40 °C or 60 °C, together in the same cycle, and that this programme is used to assess the compliance with the EU ecodesign legislation.
  • Page 32 • Hygiene+ Applying a steam step at the beginning of the programme allows to soften the dirt easily. Use this programme for your laundry (baby clothes, bed sheets, bedlinen, underwear, etc. cotton items) that requires an anti-allergic and hygienic washing at high temperature with intensive and long washing cycle. The high level of hygiene is ensured thanks to the steam application before the programme, long heating duration and additional rinsing step.
  • Page 33 • Spülen (Rinse) Use when you want to rinse or starch separately. • Hemden (Shirts) This programme is used to wash the shirts made from cotton, synthetic and synthetic blended fabrics altogether. It reduces wrinkles. Steam is applied at the end of the programme to help the wrinkle reducing function. The special spin profile and steam applied at the end of the programme reduce the wrinkles on your shirts.

    a) Select the desired auxiliary functions before starting the programme. b) LED light of the selected auxiliary function turns on. • You may select or cancel auxiliary functions suitable for the current programme after the washing has started. If the NOTE wash cycle has reached a point where no auxiliary function can be selected, an audio warning will be given.

Programme setting 10.1 Temperature selection a) Whenever a new programme is selected, the recommended temperature for the selected programme appears on the temperature indicator. b) To decrease the temperature, press the Temperature Adjustment button. Temperature will decrease gradually. c) It turns back to the beginning after "Cold" option and arrives at the highest temperature selectable according to the programme.

    • Rinse Hold If you are not going to unload your clothes immediately after the programme completes, you can use rinse hold function to keep your laundry in the final rinsing water in order to prevent them from getting wrinkled when there is no water in the machine.

    11. Programme options 11.1 Setting the end time • Do not use liquid detergents without a liquid cup when you activate End Time function.
