The M3016-EVK evaluation kit contains the 16Mbit MRAM device and enables users to develop interactive

hardware solutions using an Arduino UNO Rev3 host board connected through a standard SPI interface. The

Arduino UNO host board communicates with a computer using a USB 2.0 cable type A/B and terminal emulator

software. Software bundled APIs and a test program from Avalanche provide basic access to the MRAM

device's functionality.

Kit Contents

The M3016 Evaluation Kit includes:

One Arduino UNO Rev3 board



One SPI evaluation board with Arduino UNO compatible R3 headers



One populated 16Mbit MRAM device in a 8-pin SOIC package

One USB 2.0 cable type A/B



A PC system with one available USB 2.0/3.0 port



Windows 7/8/10 with 32/64-bit operation system



Follow the instructions outlined in the Evaluation Board User Guide on how to connect the evaluation board to

the PC.
