90°(0°) Stop
1. Disconnect thesawfromthepower s ource.
2. Turntheblade elevation handwheel andraisethe
bladetothe maximum elevation.
3. Loosen thebladebevel l ockknob(1)andmovethe
bladetothe maximum vertical p osition, thentighten
thelockknob(1).
4. Place a combination s quare onthetableandagainst
theblade(2)todetermine i f thebladeis 90° (0°) to
thetable.(Fig.P)
5. tf thebladeis not90° (0°) tothetable, l oosen thetwo
setscrews (4),located on thecollar(5)underneath
thetablesaw(Fig.Q)withthehexkey(Carton
Contents J )andbackoffthecollar.
6. Loosen thebevel l ockknob, t urnthebladetilting
handwheel to move thebladeuntilitis 90° (0°) tothe
tableandtighten thebevel l ockknob.
7. Adjust t hecollar(5)so itcontacts thebracket ( 3)
when thebladeis 90° (0 °) tothetable. T ighten the
twosetscrews (4)(Fig.Q).

1. Withthebladeintheupright 9 0° (0°) position, loosen
thebevel l ockknobandmovethebladetothe
maximum bevel a ngle.
2. Place thecombination square onthetableasshown
in Fig.Ptocheckif thebladeis 45° tothetable.
3. tf thebladeis not45° tothetable, l oosen thetwoset
screws (4),located onthecollar(5)underneath t he
tablesaw,(Fig.Q)withthehexkey(Carton Contents
J),andbackoffthecollar.

4. Loosen thebladebevel l ockknob, t urntheblade
tiltinghandwheel tomovethebladeuntilit is 45° to
thetableandtighten thebladebevel l ockknob.
5.Adjust t hecollar(5)so itcontacts thebracket ( 3)
when thebladeis 45° tothetable. T ighten thetwo
setscrews.
BLADE TiLTiNGPOINTER
1. Whenthebladeis positioned a t90°(0°),adjust t he
bladetiltpointer t o read0° onthescale.
2. Loosen themounting s crew, p osition pointer o ver0°
andtighten thescrew.
NOTE: M akea trialcutonscrapwoodbefore making
critical c uts.Measure f orexactness.

be rechecked
and adjusted
if necessary.

To prevent personal injury:
= Always disconnect plug from the power source
when making any adjustments.
• This adjustment must be correct or accurate cuts
can not be made. Also inaccurate adjustment can
result in kickback
and serious personal injury.
1. Remove the safety switch key and unplug the saw.
2. Remove the blade guard for this procedure but
reinstall and realign after adjustment.
3. Raise the blade to the highest position and set at the
0° angle (90 ° straight up).
4. Select and mark, with a felt tip maker, a blade tooth
having a "right set" and rotate the blade so the
marked tooth is Y2in. above the table.
5. Place the combination square base (1) into the right
side miter gauge groove (2). (Fig. R)
6. Adjust the rule so it touches the front marked tooth
and lock ruler so it holds its position in the square
assembly.
