18.1 Cleaning the drain pump
Large food scraps or objects can block
the drain pump. As soon as the
dishwater no longer drains properly,
you must clean the drain pump.
WARNING
Risk of injury!
Sharp and pointed objects such as
shards of glass can block the drain
pump and cause injury.
Carefully remove foreign objects.

Unplug the device from the power

Remove the upper and lower

baskets.
Remove the strainer system.

Scoop out the existing water.

If necessary, use a sponge for

Lift up the pump cover with a spoon

and hold it by the bracket.
Lift the pump cover at an angle
