The keyboard is on the top pad of the box as well as other accessories. Carefully unpack your workstation and be sure to save the bottom and top fillers as well as the top pad for future shipping and transportation.

    Random Access Memory (DDR5 SDRAM) is packaged only in 288-pin Dual In-Line Memory Modules (DIMMs). Your CIARA KRONOS 540-G2 uses only DIMM memory modules. Each DIMM module can have a capacity of 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB. The minimum system capacity is 8 GB and the maximum system capacity is 128 GB.

Dual channel mode is enabled when the installed memory capacities of both DIMM channels are equal. Technology and device width can vary from one channel to the other but the installed memory capacity for each channel must be equal.

    Please keep your equipment log up to date and include a copy of it whenever your equipment is returned to CIARA for servicing.     CIARA KRONOS 540-G2 Workstation 4.3.4 PCI auto configuration The BIOS can automatically configure PCI devices. PCI devices may be onboard or add-in cards. Auto configuration lets a user insert or remove PCI cards without having to configure the system. When a user turns on the system after adding a PCI card, the BIOS automatically configures interrupts, the I/O space, and other system resources.

    CIARA KRONOS 540-G2 Workstation GLOSSARY 32-Bit -- In computer architecture, 32-bit integers, memory addresses, or other data units are those that are at most 32 bits (4 octets) wide. Also, 32-bit CPU and ALU architectures are those that are based on registers, address buses, or data buses of that size. 32-bit is also a term given to a generation of computers in which 32-bit processors were the norm.
