Hood sensor
The hood sensor is secured in a slot in the rear of the chassis.
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
3.
Disconnect the cable (1) from the system board connector labeled HSENSE.
4.
Using a screwdriver or similar tool, slide the sensor out of the slot in the rear of the chassis (2).
To install the hood sensor, reverse the removal procedure.
