PRODUCT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This unit may become very hot, do not touch the tank and do not move it during use.
• Do not proceed to tilt the appliance when it is on and warm.
• Do not use alcohol or gasoline to ignite or reignite the fire! Only use fire-lighters that comply with EN
1860-3! Keep children and pets away from the product.
• Familiarize yourself with all the controls and their proper functioning in order to know how to stop the
motor and how to turn off the power in an emergency.
• Respect the maximum permissible load of 25 kg. An excessive load can cause motor damage or
even destruction.
• Provide fire extinguishing devices in case of emergency.
• Be careful of sharp edges. Every effort has been made when making the rotisserie to detect and
remove sharp spots / edges, however you must handle all parts carefully to avoid any risk of injury.
• Never let children or persons unfamiliar with the operating instructions use this device.
• The appliance must be connected to a socket outlet with an earth contact.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The device must be supplied via a circuit comprising a residual current device (RCD), with a rated
differential operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and over and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they have received
supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and that they understand the
hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by the user
must not be carried out by children, unless they are over 8 years old and are supervised. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of the reach of children under 8.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Your device must be powered by an extension cord. Use of an improper extension cord could result
in a risk of fire and electric shock.
• Protect the extension cord that supplies the engine with heat from the fireplace.
• When using the extension cord, make sure that:
- The pins of the extension are the same number, shape and dimensions as those of the socket.
- The extension cord is properly wired and in good condition.
- The extension is placed at the back of the unit, so as not to interfere.
• Check regularly that the power supply and extension cord have not been damaged or show signs
of wear. Do not use the appliance if the cords are damaged and contact your dealer to be put in
contact with customer service.
• The power cable should be checked regularly for signs of damage, and if the cable is damaged, the
appliance should not be used.
• The appliances are not intended to be operated by an external timer or a separate remote control
system.
