GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the following assembly instructions carefully before assembling and using this product. If you
are assembling this product for someone else, please provide this document for future reference.
•
Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury, burns, or fire.
•
Respect municipal and prefectural by-laws during periods conducive to fire, especially during the
summer season.
•
The barbecue must be installed on a stable horizontal surface before use.
•
The barbecue must be heated and the fuel kept glowing for at least 30 minutes before the first
cooking.
•
Do not leave flammable products near the appliance. Store the product in a dry place away from
heat.
•
Wait until the roasting pan has cooled down completely before draining and cleaning in order to
prevent burns.
•
Never touch the grill or its holder to check if the appliance is hot or you risk burning yourself severely.
•
In order to prevent any harm (cut, burn,etc.), it is strongly advised to use security globes when as-
sembling and using the roasting.
•
Do not use this appliance under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•
Do not use wooden logs with your coal barbecue.
•
The tank has been designed to hold 6,5kg (13,2lbs) standard charcoal.
•
The appliance is suitable for outdoor use.

WARNING! This barbecue will become very hot. Do not move it during use.
•
WARNING! Do not use in enclosed spaces!
•
WARNING! Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or re-lighting.
•
WARNING! Do not leave the fire accessible to children and pets.
•
WARNING! Be careful of sharp edges. Every effort was made during the manufacture of the
barbecue to detect and remove sharp spots / edges. However, you must handle all the parts
carefully to avoid any risk of injury.
•
WARNING! Before starting to cook, wait for a layer of ash to cover the fuel. Do not place food on
the grill until there are no embers.
