7. Use

7.1. Side transfer

• Make sure that the sides of the wheelchair and the current or future
seat surface are as close to each other as possible.
• If you are transferring from another wheelchair or indoor frame,
secure these by applying the parking brakes.
• Secure the wheelchair using the parking brake (see Chapter 5.8).
• If necessary, swing the armrest backwards or remove the sideguard
(see Chapter 5.5).
• Flip both footplates up, swing them to the side and remove them
(see Chapter 5.2).
• Slide sideways onto the other seat surface. When doing this sit as
far back as possible.
• Move the legrests back into their original position.
• If necessary lock the sideguards back in place.

7.2. Frontal transfer

away, there is a Risk of tipping over!
• Remove the legrests (see Chapter 5.2).
• Make sure that the front of the wheelchair and the current or future
seat are as close to each other as possible and apply the parking
brakes on both sides (see Chapter 5.8).
