PRODUCT SAFETY

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure
to follow the warnings and instructions may result in fire and/or
serious injury.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put Mini
Blender Base, USB Adapter, USB Cable, or Battery in water or
other liquid.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by children or by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge. Close supervision is necessary
when any appliance is used near children. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Turn the appliance off, remove the Battery when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning.
5. Avoid contacting moving parts. Do not attempt to override the
safety interlock mechanisms.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged Battery or
charger or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or is
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest Authorized Service Center for examination, repair, or
electrical or mechanical adjustment.
7. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to
reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the
Blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when
the Blender is not running.
8. Blades are sharp. Care should be taken when handling the
sharp cutting blades, emptying the jar and during cleaning.
9. Always operate Blender with cover in place.
10. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.
11. Risk of thermal burn injury due to excessive pressure in the
Blender Jar. Do not blend hot liquids.
12. The use of accessories/attachments, including canning Jars,
not recommended or sold by KitchenAid may cause a risk of
fire or injury to persons.
