Start-up, calibration and operation of the burner

5.1

Notes on safety for the first start-up

The first start-up of the burner must be carried out
by qualified personnel, as indicated in this manual
and in compliance with the standards and
regulations of the laws in force.

5.2

Combustion head adjustment

The air damper servomotor 9)(Fig. 8, on page 12), besides
changing air flow depending on output request, regulates the
combustion head via a lever system.
The choice of the hole to be used is based on diagram (Tab. J)
according to the maximum output required.
The factory regulation corresponds to the minimum output
(coupling position: 0 - Fig. 28).
5.3

Adjustments prior to ignition (light oil)

It is recommended to adjust first the light oil burner
and then the gas burner.
Carry out the fuel change with burner off.
ATTENTION
The optimum calibration of the burner requires an analysis of the
flue gases at the boiler outlet and interventions on the following
points.
