4. Insert the drive and carrier into its bay. When the carrier reaches the rear of the bay, the
release handle will retract.
5. Using the thumb, push the drive carrier handle until it clicks into the locked position.
Caution: Except for short periods of time, such as swapping drives, do not operate the server
with the drive bays empty.
Note: Enterprise level drives are recommended for use in Supermicro chassis and servers.
